Tuesday saw democracy in action. We offer our congratulations and thanks to all the women and men who commit their time and energies to benefiting others through public service. We look forward to working with our representatives in in our municipalities, Trenton and Washington to help propel New Jersey’s life sciences industry forward. Following the elections, there was more good news on the drug approval front, with Johnson & Johnson and Lilly receiving drug approvals from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

And then on Thursday, we at BioNJ announced a new brand – BioNJ: The Gateway to Health – which is inspired by a series of strategic objectives that reflect an expanded vision and mission. As BioNJ President and CEO Debbie Hart said in a telecast (Click here to view), which officially kicked off the new look, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant life sciences ecosystem in New Jersey where science is supported, companies are created, drugs are developed and Patients are paramount.
