Click here to register for FREE. \n\n\n\nLearn about three innovative initiatives which have the potential to be game changers: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Bristol Myers Squibb \n\n\n\nIn looking beyond race and ethnicity\, Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) is partnering with its Employee Resource Groups to explore diversity in clinical trials as it impacts other groups. Sharon Hanlon\, Head of Clinical Trials Engagement and Enrollment\, will discuss two recent BMS initiatives: “SOGIIS Data Collection Patients” which gives Patients the option to report demographic information relevant to their sexual orientation and gender identity and a “Clinical Trials Implications Assessment for Disabled Patients” which journey maps the clinical trial experience for disabled Patients\, identifying opportunities for growth. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Novartis & U.S. Novartis Foundation \n\n\n\nNovartis and the U.S. Novartis Foundation have taken a major step forward in addressing the root causes of disparities in health and education with Beacon of Hope – a 10-year commitment to co-creating programs that address health and education inequities and create greater diversity\, equity\, inclusion and trust across the research and development ecosystem. Dr. Linda Armstrong\, Head of U.S. Corporate Responsibility and President of U.S. Novartis Foundation\, will provide an overview of this first-of-its-kind innovative collaboration with 26 Historically Black Colleges and Universities\, Merck\, Sanofi\, Amgen\, Alnylam\, the Global Black Economic Forum\, the National Medical Association\, Thurgood Marshall College Fund\, Coursera\, Advarra\, Virb and BeeKeeperAI. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Janssen Pharmaceuticals \n\n\n\nJanssen’s “Research Includes Me” initiative seeks to identify needs\, build trust and break down barriers to access with a focus on traditionally underrepresented communities by providing educational materials\, addressing misperceptions\, hosting community events and connecting Patients to clinical research opportunities.
