March is New Jersey Life Sciences Month —
Bolstering the Value of Medical Innovation
BioNJ is proud to declare March 2017 as New Jersey Life Sciences Month. Life Sciences Month was established to raise awareness of the unprecedented medical innovation taking place in New Jersey. Known as “The Medicine Chest of the World,” New Jersey is home to nearly 3,200 life sciences establishments, including more than 400 biotechnology companies as well as 14 of the world’s largest biopharmaceutical companies and 12 of the 22 top research and development companies.
During the month, numerous industry activities throughout the State will showcase the contributions that New Jersey’s life sciences ecosystem is making to advance medical research, support Patients, maximize our robust talent pool, foster STEM education and contribute to the State’s economy.
Recognizing that Patients Can’t Wait®, as part of Life Sciences Month, BioNJ will celebrate the innovation and collaboration within New Jersey’s life sciences industry by observing a
Moment of Hope on Wednesday, March 22 at 3:00 p.m. During this time, it is our hope that organizations across the State will come together for a moment to reflect upon the needs of Patients and their families and the key reasons why we all do what we do throughout the industry.
Join us in paying tribute to the life sciences community by celebrating March as New Jersey’s Life Sciences Month.
