The New Trump Administration: Employment Law Update of What You Need to Know Now!

Much has happened in just the first few weeks of the Trump Administration. Many of the new directives directly impact the workforce and employee lifecycle. BioNJ is offering a FREE webinar to help our HR community understand the employment law aspects of these new developments. Ms. Anderson is an experienced trial lawyer and strategic counselor with a long history of working with life sciences clients on all aspects of the employment relationship. She leads the firm’s Pay Equity Team and co-leads its Affirmative Action Task Force. Ms. Anderson has received multiple recognitions including by Chambers USA as a “Leading Lawyer for Business”.  She Co-Chairs BioNJ’s HR and Inspiring Women of STEM Committees; is a member of Faegre Drinker’s Health & Life Sciences Industry Team and Co-Chaired the firm’s ERG, Women Forward, from 2011 to 2023.


Ms. Carlson is an experienced business immigration lawyer with over 25 years of experience moving corporate talent across borders and counseling U.S. and international companies on complex immigration issues across all industries, including life sciences. She manages all types of U.S. employment-based immigration matters and leads the firm’s immigration team. Ms. Carlson also advises clients on changes to government policy, including continued heightened scrutiny from USCIS, the Department of Labor and other government agencies.


Mr. Hayes counsels clients on a variety of employment-related issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour claims, employee mobility and trade secrets, breach of contract and defamation. He has deep experience advising clients on severance and release agreements, restrictive covenants and trade secrets, worker classification, creating employee handbooks and policies, reductions in force, leaves of absence, wage and hour compliance and other employment law developments.
