Important Information for Applicants
The application deadline was February 20, 2026. Applications are no longer being accepted for the conference.
- Applicants will be notified by March 16, 2026 if they are selected to present at the conference.
- All presenters must be available to present in person on Tuesday, May 12 at Liberty Science Center in Jersey City.
- Accepted companies will be responsible for their Conference registration fees. There is no additional fee to apply or present.
- All presenters must attend a mandatory Information Session on March 23, 2026, from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. EST.
- BioNJ offers free coaching sessions with representatives from BioNJ member companies for presenters to prepare for the conference. Coaching sessions will take place between April 6-17. All companies selected for Startup Pitch Presentations (2-minute presenters) are required to participate in a coaching session. Coaching sessions are optional but recommended for Company Presentations (8-minute presenters).
- Final presentation slide decks are due no later than April 24, 2026.
- All presenting companies are strongly encouraged to sign up on the BioPartnering Conference 1:1 Partnering Platform to schedule 1:1 meetings with other conference attendees. Partnering Platform will open in April.

There are two types of Company Presentations based on your organization’s stage:
Company Presentations (8 minutes) – Eligibility Requirements
- Company has completed Series-A funding before February 22, 2025 or company is in the process of raising $5 million or more in Series-A funding
- Pre-revenue to marketed product
- Private (minimum series A round) or public (micro-, small- and mid-cap) life sciences company or technology company directly impacting life sciences innovation in one of the following research and development-based categories:
- Devices
- Diagnostics
- Digital Medicine/Medtech Technologies
- Health IT (AI, Big Data, Bioinformatics, Machine
- Learning)
- R&D Discovery and Enabling Technologies
- Therapeutics
Startup Pitch Presentations (2 minutes) – Eligibility Requirements
- Company has not completed a Series-A round before February 22, 2025
- Has led for IP protection before February 22, 2025
- Actively working to secure a seed round up to $5M in investment
- Life sciences company or technology company directly impacting life sciences innovation in one of the following research and development-based categories:
- Devices
- Diagnostics
- Digital Medicine/Medtech Technologies
- Health IT (AI, Big Data, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning)
- R&D Discovery and Enabling Technologies
- Therapeutics
BioNJ BioPartnering Conference Pitch Workshop
Presenting companies are invited to watch BioNJ’s Pitch Workshop providing valuable insights into crafting effective pitch presentation.
Slide Templates and Format for Presentations
All company presentations should be saved and submitted as a PowerPoint widescreen (16:9) file. PDFs will not be accepted. All videos embedded within your slide deck must be an MP4 file. MP4 file should be encoded with H.264 video (MPEG-4 AVC) and AAC.
