Integrating AI and Robotics to Discover New Drugs Faster
Wednesday, March 6, 2024 | 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.
Join us for this one-hour webinar where experts will use Iktos’ AI-driven platform to explore the synergy between artificial intelligence and robotics in the design and synthesis of novel molecules for drug discovery and optimization.
From handling diverse molecules, reactions and exit vectors to optimizing reactants, procedures and the number of steps, this groundbreaking approach is poised to reshape the future of drug discovery.
By streamlining research processes and addressing current weaknesses related to sub-optimal workflows and time-consuming manual tasks, AI solutions have the potential to deliver a drug candidate within 24 months with just two chemists and one robot, a significant reduction compared to the conventional requirement of 10 people and 30 months.
Invite your entire Team to attend this FREE webinar, including your scientists, researchers, R&D leads and business development professionals!
Speakers:
Quentin Perron, Ph.D.
Co-Founder & Chief Scientific Officer, Iktos
After completing his post-doc fellowship at UCLA where Dr. Perron worked on the total synthesis of Brasillicardin A, a complex natural molecule known for having a potent immunosuppressive activity, he was a medicinal chemist in CNS indications at Laboratoires Servier. He later switched to data science and chemoinformatics at Quinten, a company specialized in data science services. In 2016, with his business partners Yann Gaston-Mathé and Nicolas Do Huu, Dr. Perron co-founded Iktos, a start-up company developing AI technologies for new drug design.
Franck Le Vaillant, Ph.D., MBA
Senior Scientist & Deputy Lab Head, Iktos
Upon completion of his Ph.D., Dr. Le Vaillant became a SNF-postdoctoral fellow to the Max-Planck-Institute für Kohlenforschung in Mülheim an der Ruhr where he developed Ni-catalyzed C-O bond formations using nitrous oxide. He later started the Labcom HitCat, a joint lab between the company Seqens and the group of Prof. Géraldine Masson (CNRS). Dr. Le Vaillant joined Iktos in July 2022, where he works on the installation, development and utilization of the Iktos Robotics Platform for Drug Discovery.
We hope to see you on March 6, 2024 for this FREE educational webinar.
